Kai Capital Management acquires HADA Kunststoffverarbeitung and Tropen Kunststofftechnik, expands its own injection moulding activities

With notarized contract dated 30 and 31 January 2017 Kai Capital Management has acquired all shares of

HADA Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH & Co KG, Troisdorf
and of
                                    Tropen Kunststofftechnik GmbH, Lüdenscheid

For many years, HADA (www.fa-hada.de) and Tropen (www.tropen-kunststofftechnik.de) have been active in the field of injection moulding and related services. Both companies maintain customer relationships from their headquarters in Northrhine-Westphalia to clients throughout Germany and neighboring countries. Their customers stem from various industries with a focus on electrical engineering and automotive supply.

Both companies have been acquired several years ago by the current managing directors, Herbert Klebe with HADA and Christoph Schwinning with Tropen. Mr. Klebe sells HADA due to reasons of age and will soon go into retirement. Mr. Schwinning will take on the responsibility of managing all injection moulding activities of Kai Capital Management. He will be the managing director of HADA and Tropen as well as of the tool construction company Axmann GmbH (www.axmanngmbh.de) which is included in this acquisition. Aditionally, he will be co-managing director of Kunststoffverarbeitung Frohn (www.frohn-kunststoff.de) which has been part of Kai Capital Management for many years.

Christoph Schwinning for his part has acquired a minority stake at KCM Frohn Verwaltungs GmbH, the vehicle in which Kai Capital Management has bundled all its injection moulding activities. This newly formed injection moulding group commands over a comprehensive machine park at several locations, own tool manufacturing as well as manual and automated assembly capacities.
