Carpentier Packaging strengthens mechanical production and appoints Christian Carpentier as additional Managing Director

With effect from 1 December 2019, Carpentier Packaging GmbH, in which Kai Capital has held a majority stake since 2011, acquired the business operations of CC Maschinenbau GmbH, Schornsheim. Christian Carpentier, managing partner of the company and son of the founder of Carpentier Packaging, Bernhard Carpentier, is appointed in this context as additional managing director of Carpentier Packaging.

Core business of CC Maschinenbau is the mechanical part production as well as the construction of assemblies and parts on behalf of the customer. Carpentier Packaging has been a major customer of CC Maschinenbau so far.

About Carpentier Packaging

Carpentier Packaging (www.carpentier-packaging.de) is managed by the managing partner and founder Bernhard Carpentier and - in the future - his son Christian Carpentier. As a result of the acquisition, there will be a second plant in Schornsheim, a few kilometers away, in addition to the headquarters in Wörrstadt, where the mechanical production will be concentrated. Due to a lack of space a new building is planned for 2020 in Schornsheim for assembly next to the now acquired mechanical production.

Carpentier Packaging, founded in 1996, manufactures erectors, cartoners and special machines for various industries, with the food sector being the largest customer base.
