Kai Capital Management’s objective is the acquisition of majority stakes in stable and profitable companies with an established existing management. Our main objective is to hold and to further develop our portfolio companies through a partnership with the target company’s existing management. Our regional investment focus lies within the West of Germany, in particular North Rhine Westphalia (NRW).

We seek to acquire majority stakes or majority positions in medium-sized companies. However, minority stakes from the seller, the managing director or third parties are highly appreciated.

Our investment focus lies within companies with an unsettled succession situation. In general we are also open to other circumstances that might prompt a sale, however we rule out handling restructuring situations.

All portfolio companies are both individually acquired and led. Cooperation within our group is supported, but is neither required nor our strategic priority.

Through its partnership with the portfolio companies’ operational management, Kai Capital Management sees itself as an entrepreneurial and active participant supporting the measures and instruments of change. Kai Capital Management actively contributes to value creation through its significant management experience.
